The manufacturer who is looking for a dynamic and experienced Bakery Application Engineer to join the team in Switzerland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the bakery industry and a proven track record in sales. This role will involve successfully developing existing customers as well as acquiring new customers, providing technical support and defining and implementing sales initiatives.
Areas of responsibility:
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities in the baking industry
• Building and maintaining close relationships with existing and potential customers
• Providing technical support and product demonstrations to customers in both commercial and industrial sales channels
• Working closely with product development and sales managers to ensure that the product offering meets customer needs
• Planning and conducting product-related workshops in our baking studio / innovation center in Stettfurt
• Creating analyses, documentation and sales reports and forecasts for business and sales management
• Attending trade fairs to promote our products
Qualifications:
• At least 5+ years of experience in sales in the baking b2b industry
• Strong technical knowledge of baking processes and equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Fluent in German; good English skills are an advantage
• MS Office skills
