Business Development Director | Adhesive Systems

Mackenzie Stuart is in close partnership with a global player in Adhesives, actively seeking a dynamic Business Development Director for their Equipment line. The ideal candidate must possess experience in driving growth within the LED, Photonics or Custom Equipment sector.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute customer-centric go-to-market strategies
  • Identifying and pursuing opportunities to increase revenue and profitability
  • Propel strategic sales growth by executing short, medium, and long-term business plans.
  • Create and execute operational plans in alignment with the company’s objectives.
  • Formulate and manage the business budget for commercial arrangements.
  • Foster a high-performance culture by developing and empowering the R&D and business development teams.
  • Drive innovation within the R&D engineering team to develop cutting-edge products and solutions by identifying emerging market trends and develop innovative strategies to capitalize on new opportunities.
  • Direct the formulation of strategic plans for the company’s overall operations and long-term growth.
  • Analysing financial data and generating reports on commercial performance
  • Implement organizational changes to align with company goals or comply with legal requirements.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Sales/Business Development within the LED, Photonics or Custom Equipment industry.
  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business preferred. MBA a plus!
  • Experience in using CRM and ERP systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience leading a cross-functional team.
  • Fluency in English, additional languages a plus.
