National Sales Manager – Food Ingredients

Mackenzie Stuart are partnering with a global Food Ingredients B2B manufacturer, who is seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Sales Manager for their Food Ingredients BU. In this pivotal role, you will lead the sales efforts across the nation, driving growth and fostering relationships with key clients. Your expertise in the food ingredients market will be instrumental in shaping the strategy and ensuring the products meet the ever-evolving needs of the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement national sales strategies to drive growth in the food ingredients sector.

– Manage and mentor a team of regional sales representatives to achieve sales targets. – Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors.

– Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic planning.

– Prepare sales forecasts and budgets, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

– Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to enhance product offerings.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field; Master’s preferred.

– Proven experience in sales management within the food ingredients industry. Ideally 5+ years experience.

– Strong leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing teams.

– Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

– Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

– Willingness to travel as needed.
