Mackenzie Stuart are collaborating with a leading Skilled Nursing company who specialise in the delivery of nursing and rehabilitation services in independent living, personal care, and skilled nursing settings. Our focus is to find a Director of Nursing to lead team in delivering a high-level of care and support to the patients and communities that they serve.
Role Overview:
The Director of Nursing will oversee the Nursing program for the facility, focusing on ensuring an exceptional level of care is delivered to patients. This role requires a leader with extensive knowledge on policies and procedures alongside a passion for ensuring that individuals are cared for to a high-level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of all Nursing programs, regulatory compliance and performance management
- Deliver clinical care through the nursing program, performing resident assessments, evaluating changes in care needs and completing individualised care plans
- Provide strategic leadership by managing, directing, and monitoring the nursing team
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of previous experience in a long-term care nursing leadership position
- Registered Nurse in West Virginia
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong understanding about relevant State policies and procedures
- Passionate about delivering quality care to patients
