Mackenzie Stuart is working in close collaboration with an international HVAC equipment distributor. We are currently recruiting for a commercially-focused individual specialized in selling building controls, based in the Midwest.
Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Qualify, manage, and grow regional channel partners such as System Integrators, System Distributors, Wholesale, and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s).
- Establish and achieve channel partner revenue objectives set with the Vice President of Sales
- Manage regular contract negotiation and execution, as well as developing business plans to achieve growth goals
- Train and coach channel partners on how to sell our products, creating and preparing technical programs as required
- Assist partners in preparing proposals, developing backlogs and local marketing initiatives
- Evaluate OEM applications, and demonstrate on-time reporting, calling and scheduling for lead generation
- Track HVAC projects and develop HVAC project strategies to win project orders
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- 5+ years’ industry experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering or a related field
- Understands BAS, controls and HVAC solutions
- Ability to travel 60 – 70%
