CFO Truck Transportation (Hamilton – Ontario)

Reports To: President & CEO

Department: Finance

Job Summary: Seeking a strategic CFO to lead financial operations and ensure long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and implement strategies for growth and profitability.
  • Provide financial forecasting and long-term planning.

Financial Operations & Management:

  • Oversee accurate financial reporting and compliance.
  • Manage cash flow and optimize financial performance.

Risk Management & Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and strong internal controls.

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Mentor the finance team and foster interdepartmental collaboration.

Investment & Fundraising:

  • Evaluate investment opportunities and lead fundraising efforts.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years in senior financial roles; CPA or CFA is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
