Mackenzie Stuart is working in close collaboration with an international warehouse and logistics solutions company. The company is a leading specialist in Warehouse Automation solutions.
We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager role, based in Stuttgart, Germany.
Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Meet or exceed the order intake targets, demonstrating a strategic approach to market penetration and revenue growth
- Lead efforts in identifying and developing new business opportunities, utilizing industry networks and market research to generate high-quality leads
- Effectively manage both external (clients, consultants, suppliers) and internal stakeholders, facilitating buy-in and support for solution proposals at various organizational levels
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement sales strategies that align with company objectives and market trends
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements to identify new business opportunities and enhance value propositions
To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
- University degree or equivalent professional experience in a technical and business field
- Native German speaking and mastering the English language both in word and writing
- Extensive network within the intralogistics sector in Germany and Europe, facilitating market entry and expansion
- Strong negotiating and contractual skills, with legal knowledge to support CAPEX contract negotiations and protect company interests
- In-depth knowledge of automated warehouse solutions and their applications
- Readiness to travel frequently to meet clients and colleagues across the region
