Mackenzie Stuart is partnered with a Leading Global Nutraceutical Contract Manufacturer who is looking for a dedicated Director of Manufacturing to join the team in the US. Specializing in vitamin and dietary supplements, our client strives for quality and produces products that are affordable and effective.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Oversee and manage all manufacturing activities, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that drive efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality across all product lines.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA regulations, and industry standards in all manufacturing processes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing manufacturing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and to implement Lean manufacturing principles.
- Collaborate with R&D and Quality Assurance teams to ensure smooth product launches and formulation processes.
- Interpret specifications, job orders, company policies and appropriate SOP’s for Production employees and processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing management within the nutraceutical or dietary supplement industry.
- Proven track record of successfully leading manufacturing teams and optimizing production processes.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting nutraceutical manufacturing. – Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
