Engineering Manager – Semiconductor – California

The company seeks an experienced Engineering Manager to lead highly technical engineering teams in advancing semiconductor technologies.

Role Overview:

The Engineering Manager will oversee engineering projects, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. This role requires a strong technical background along with excellent leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers specializing in digital, analog, and mixed-signal IC design, focusing on high-speed data processing and power management solutions.
  • Define technical project scopes, specifications, and timelines, ensuring deliverables meet stringent quality standards and customer requirements for semiconductor products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, product management, and manufacturing, to align engineering designs with market needs and production capabilities.
  • Drive the application of advanced design methodologies such as Agile and design-for-test (DFT) to enhance product development cycles and ensure robust testing strategies.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle management, from concept and design through validation, prototyping, and production ramp-up, with a focus on yield optimization and cost efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing engineering teams focused on IC design and verification.
  • Strong technical expertise in semiconductor design processes, including deep knowledge of CMOS technology, digital signal processing, and RF circuit design
