Position Overview: Join a leading 3rd party logistics firm as a Global Business Development Director. This crucial role is focused on expanding this client’s presence in the Contract Logistics space.
Key Responsibilities:
– Work on establishing connections with global accounts with HQs in Germany
– Formulate and execute strategic growth plans to penetrate FMCG, Electronics & Retail clients in the €5-€7bn revenue category.
– Establish and nurture strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure the company is considered for Global RFQ process.
– Conduct comprehensive market analysis to uncover trends and new opportunities.
– Collaborate with internal teams in a matrix structure to lead tenders utilising relationships built
– Develop and present persuasive proposals and presentations to prospective customers.
– Stay informed on industry dynamics to maintain competitive advantage.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
– Demonstrated success in onboarding global accounts in contract logistics
– In-depth knowledge of logistics requirements specific to FMCG, Retail, Electronics
– Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
– Native German & Professional English languages are a must
