Key Account Manager (Adhesives | EV/Automotive)

  • Salary Range $130,000 - $160,000
  • Location Michigan

About the role

Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with a leading adhesives manufacturer company on the search for a Key Account Manager – EV/Automotive to support the company’s growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Strengthening and advancing relationships with key accounts by boosting sales, improving profit margins, expanding product offerings, and streamlining operational processes.
  • Proactively pursuing business development initiatives to expand the customer base, both domestically and internationally.
  • Developing and implementing sales promotion strategies and content to drive business growth.
  • Collaborating closely with technical teams, sales leadership, and marketing teams to foster product innovation.
  • Projecting and anticipating sales figures while closely monitoring performance metrics.
  • Assessing customers based on growth potential, sales performance, and profitability.
  • Analysing market competition and formulating strategies to ensure competitiveness.
  • Providing guidance to customers on materials and their application in product development and final production, collaborating with application engineers and laboratory staff as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Automotive adhesives.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Demonstrated experience in sales and business development.
  • Track record of acquiring and supporting international customers.
  • Mobility and willingness to travel.
  • Leadership skills with an ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills.
