Sales Director – Coatings | Construction

Mackenzie Stuart is in close partnership with a global leader in adhesives, actively seeking a dynamic Sales Director for their construction adhesives. The ideal candidate must possess experience in leading profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities within the construction sector, though individuals from the broader Coatings industry will also be considered.

Job Responsibilities

• Leading and mentoring the sales team, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to meet targets
• Identifying and pursuing opportunities to increase revenue and profitability
• Propel strategic sales growth by executing short, medium, and long-term business plans.
• Create and execute operational plans in alignment with the company’s objectives.
• Formulate and manage the business budget for commercial arrangements.
• Play a crucial role in advising on material/product pricing for commercial contracts.
• Monitor staff performance to ensure adherence to productivity and work quality standards.
• Direct the formulation of strategic plans for the company’s overall operations and long-term growth.
• Analysing financial data and generating reports on commercial performance
• Implement organizational changes to align with company goals or comply with legal requirements.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in Sales/Business Development within the Coatings industry. Commercial P/L leadership experience is a plus.
• Chemical Engineering Degree or equivalent, with an MBA preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience leading a team
• Fluency in English, Dutch a plus.
