Sales Director – Dietary Supplements

Mackenzie Stuart is partnered with a full-service dietary supplement contract manufacturer who are looking for an experienced Sales Director who has a passion for nutritional supplements and driving revenue growth.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: In collaboration with the CEO, devise and execute a comprehensive B2B sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market share goals. ​
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and lead the sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. ​
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry partners to drive business growth.​
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to adapt sales strategies accordingly.​
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing, finance, product development, and operations departments to ensure alignment across the organization.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish and oversee tracking reports for accountability purposes, ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded.

Requirements:

  • Industry Experience: Minimum of 10 years in B2B sales within the dietary supplement, nutraceutical, or contract manufacturing industry, with a demonstrated track record of accomplishments. ​
  • Leadership: Proven experience in sales team management, including recruitment, coaching, and development of outside sales and internal client services teams. ​
  • Strategic Planning: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement sales infrastructure, including sales compensation plans, territory and account strategies, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.​
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is preferred. ​
