Sales Director – Nutraceuticals

Mackenzie Stuart are working in partnership with a leading Dietary Supplement Contract Manufacturer within the health & wellness space, based in Utah, US. They are a top nutraceutical company, expanding rapidly and are therefore seeking a motivated Sales Director to join their team in Utah, US.

Responsibilities:

  • Expand the company’s market presence by establishing new account relationships, managing key clients, ensuring customer loyalty, and consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer needs and their decision-making processes.
  • Provide insights to the marketing and senior management teams to enhance the value proposition for key clients.
  • Finalize agreements with customers through trademark contracts and annual agreements.
  • Identify customer segments, unmet needs, and emerging market trends, collaborating with the marketing team to seize these opportunities.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base of competitors, market dynamics, and consumer behaviour.
  • Design and execute customized marketing and promotional strategies for accounts within the approved budget.
  • Forge and maintain strong partnerships with the Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to ensure supply meets client demand.
  • Achieve forecast accuracy by delivering high-quality products in the correct quantities, on time, and at agreed prices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years’ of sales experience within dietary supplements
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Food Science, Biology, Nutrition or Microbiology. MBA or advanced degree in nutritional or life sciences, business, marketing and/or communications strongly desired.
  • Strong leadership skills
