Business Development Manager – Warehouse Automation

Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with an international warehousing solutions company. The company is an exciting, growing company in warehouse automation solutions.

We are currently hiring for a Business Development Manager role, based Illinois, US.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Be the first and main point of contact with the customer, through the whole sales process and to aid project management in the deployment
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies, with the vision of increasing revenue growth and market share
  • Build and develop collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Using data, analyse customer needs in order to create new sales channels
  • Contract negotiations with clients from enquiries to quotations
  • Having a complete understanding of the product range that is being sold
  • Be a key collaborator in marketing, project development and execution

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:

  • 5+ years’ industry or sales experience in intralogistics automation
  • Experience leading technical sales projects
  • Excellent communication skills, and a strong business acumen
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree in a relevant area (preferred)
  • Experience selling multi-million dollar systems
