Senior Procurement Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a procurement team of 15 professionals, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and support company objectives.
• Oversee and manage an €80 million procurement budget, ensuring cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
• Manage procurement projects related to new parts and digital infrastructure, ensuring timely and successful implementation.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, securing favorable terms and conditions.
• Monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with quality standards, delivery schedules, and contractual obligations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
• Minimum of 10 years of procurement experience, with a strong focus on supply chain management.
• Proven experience managing and leading a team of at least 5 people, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in both English and German, with strong communication skills in both languages.
• Extensive experience managing large procurement budgets, preferably in excess of €50 million.
• Strong project management skills, particularly in the procurement of new parts and digital infrastructure projects.
