You will be responsible for increasing sales and ensuring market penetration with existing accounts, as well as actively seeking new customers and establishing new prospects. This role focuses mainly on developing partnerships with architectural and design businesses. You will be recognized as an industry resource and product expert as you establish strong ties with their client base. This position’s typical day will involve meetings and presentations with architects, interior designers, contractors, and facility end users. The area includes Austin in North Texas.
The ideal applicant will live in or near the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be enthusiastic about selling items of the finest quality and value in their class. Working for a world-class company and cooperating on cross-functional teams will energize the candidate for the post. They must be self-starters, organized, and understand the value of developing and sustaining good interpersonal connections. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and have strong presentation and computer abilities. Prior outside sales experience calling on architects and designers, as well as construction or building items, is necessary. It is advantageous to be bilingual in English and Spanish.
