Vice President Sales and Marketing

  • Location Europe – EU

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that align with the company’s vision and business goals.
    • Ability to build and later lead and mentor the sales and marketing teams to achieve performance targets and foster a high-performance culture.
    • Collaborate with other executive leaders to drive cross-functional alignment and support organizational initiatives.
  2. Sales Management:
    • Hands-on approach until a team is built
    • Oversee the development and execution of sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  3. Customer Experience:
    • Ensure the alignment of sales and marketing strategies with customer needs and expectations.
    • Drive initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  4. Marketing Oversight:
    • Direct the creation and execution of marketing campaigns and programs to enhance brand visibility, generate leads, and support sales efforts.
    • Oversee market research and competitive analysis to understand customer needs and market dynamics.
    • Manage the company’s digital marketing strategy, including social media and content marketing.
  5. Budget and Resource Management:
    • Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and effective cost management.
    • Monitor and report on the performance of sales and marketing investments, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize ROI.
  6. Innovation and Market Positioning:
    • Identify and implement innovative approaches to sales and marketing to stay ahead of industry trends and competitors.
    • Develop and promote the company’s value proposition and differentiators to enhance market positioning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in sales and marketing leadership roles, with a track record of driving revenue growth and managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, including digital marketing, branding, and market analysis.
