VP Sales – Norway (Hybrid) – Semiconductor Industry

Our client is a pioneering and fast-growing start-up in the semiconductor sector, dedicated to revolutionising low-power microelectronics. They are seeking a VP of Sales to lead global commercial expansion, laying the foundation for exponential growth in this high-impact industry.

Role Overview:

This key senior leadership role will define and execute commercial strategy, oversee global sales, and build a scalable team to drive significant growth in revenue and market share. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in semiconductor sales, an entrepreneurial approach, and a track record in growing and managing high-performing teams within a start-up or fast-growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Commercial Leadership: Define and implement a comprehensive commercial roadmap to drive aggressive revenue growth and secure a competitive market presence in the low-power microelectronics industry.
  • Sales and Market Expansion: Develop and oversee both direct and indirect sales channels, optimizing strategies to expand customer acquisition and deepen market reach across key regions.
  • Team Building and Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performance sales and marketing team, creating the foundation for future commercial operations and driving team excellence.
  • Partnership and Deal Management: Actively engage in securing strategic partnerships, negotiating deals, and establishing long-term relationships with key industry players to boost growth.
  • Culture and Innovation Development: Foster a collaborative and mission-driven culture that aligns with the company’s commitment to sustainability and energy-efficient technology innovation for battery-powered devices.

Qualifications:

  • Significant sales experience within the semiconductor industry, ideally power semiconductors
  • Proven ability to drive growth and customer acquisition through strategic sales leadership and direct account management.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to balance strategic planning and hands-on sales execution.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a background in international market development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (advanced degree preferred).

Compensation:

The position offers a competitive salary and performance-based bonus.

Location:

This hybrid role offers flexibility, with travel to Norway required 1-2 times per month for in-person meetings.
